Default The Art of the Ego: Review of Stefan Molyneux’s Stupid Book

To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them.

Amoeba, is this an important enough book to post anything (even critical) about it here?

I know dialecticians in general have, shall we say, a sub-sophomoric knowledge of logic (ancient and modern, but particularly modern), but is any revolutionary going to read this book, let alone be seduced by it?

Is it important enough to pay attention to? I'm not sure. The guy appears to be quite popular among the alt-right crowd, and a lot of especially young white men are attracted to his toxic ideology. As alt-right crypto-Nazis are among the foremost enemies those on the left face today, I think it's worthwhile to be aware of what they are moved by ideologically, and to subject it to critique.

That's why I thought posting this rather good take down of the book might interest some here.

Ok, well in that case, I can see why it was a good idea to post it. :-)
