To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them.

The other frontfrunner is Anas Sarwar, a Blairite whose supporters are in all likelihood already churning out "WE DONT NEED ANOTHER WHITE MAN AS LEADER!!!! THATS RACIST!!!!" takes on social media and various liberal media outlets.

Neolib idpol of that kind failed miserably when aimed at Corbyn (e.g., "WE NEED A WOMAN LEADER SO GET COOPER THE BLAIRITE IN!), let's see how it fares in Scotland.

Also, Cooper ended 3rd in a 4 way contest, with 17% of the vote (Corbyn got 59.5%).

She was gearing up to become the UK's Hillary Clinton just before the general election as well, but turns out the old foolish socialist was more popular than she anticipated.

Anas Sarwar: ‘I wasn’t only one who was wrong about Jeremy Corbyn’

Yup, he's a Blairite scumbag. Let's hope Scottish Lab have some sense and barf him out like the English party barfed them out in the leadership contest.

They worked hard, did all the right things, went to the right schools, know the right people, and still lost to a guy who did none of it; it is unbearable to them.

Demo, will you pay the fee to be able to vote in the Scottish Labour leadership election? If so, who will you vote for?

No, because I am not a Scottish Labour supporter and it would be pretty dishonest to try. I would probably be refused anyway if I try. They do have mechanisms to make sure opponents of the party don't cheat the process.

Would you change your position toward it if Leonard wins the leadership?

This racist fanatic is about to become leader of UKIP, which hopefully will aid in their marginalization:

Never say never but I doubt it. Most votes in Scotland are by proportional representation and as I have said before I normally vote Green in those these days as they are to the left of both Labour and the SNP and will continually be so.

The FPTP elections plus the constituency portion of the Scottish Parliament election is more interesting because if Labour went to the left of the SNP I would have to consider it but there is also the constitutional issue, particularly the way Scottish Labour react to the Tories at Westminster using Brexit to reduce the powers of the Scottish Parliament. Plus the SNP have moved to the left since the election too so that would have to be factored in.

At any rate though I am fairly sure Sarwar is going to win so it is rather academic.

I'm counting on the registered supporters to come through. It is absolutely absurd for Scottish Labour to be to the right of the national party.
